Hi there, my name is David (you may have guessed from the username.. if not you are now in the know). Nonetheless I am aiming to start a blog post-university and i guess this is the first step towards that. I have just recently graduated from a BA (Hons) Graphic Design course (literally three weeks ago) at Canterbury Christ Church University. They were in no doubt the best three years of my life, so far anyway..
During the last two years of study we as a class, were required to start a blog and use it as a digital sketchbook in aid of our assignments being assessed, mine can be found via the link: (

I honestly thought it would hinder the progression and productivity of the assignments, because of the amount of time that would be spent blogging and stuff, but to my surprise I must say it was actually very useful, particularly for certain stages of an assignment (i.e. researching and ideation) and a bonus was that I found it rather therapeutic.
So to sum up, I want to now continue blogging the things I do, explore, learn (you name it) and interact with in the creative world, so to speak. University has been over for 7 months now *sigh..* and I want to establish and record another online platform, where I can refer to my journey, but now as a Graphic Design Graduate.
